On July 12, we begin a brand-new sermon series: Conquest, Chaos, and Covenant. Over the next several weeks, we'll journey through the books of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. These are some of the most challenging stories in all of Scripture. They include difficult questions about violence, leadership, faithfulness, failure, and what it means to follow God in an imperfect world. Rather than avoiding these passages, we'll wrestle with them together—trusting that even the most complicated parts of the Bible can teach us something about God's character and our own discipleship.

Our first message, "Crossing Over," comes from Joshua 1:1–9. As Joshua prepares to lead the Israelites into an unknown future, God offers a simple but powerful reminder: "Be strong and courageous...for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Those words have spoken to generations of God's people facing change, uncertainty, and new beginnings. They continue to speak to us today.
