On July 12, we begin a brand-new sermon series: Conquest, Chaos, and Covenant. Over the next several weeks, we'll journey through the books of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. These are some of the most challenging stories in all of Scripture. They include difficult questions about violence, leadership, faithfulness, failure, and what it means to follow God in an imperfect world. Rather than avoiding these passages, we'll wrestle with them together—trusting that even the most complicated parts of the Bible can teach us something about God's character and our own discipleship.

This Sunday we continue our journey through Joshua as we explore the power of remembering God's faithfulness. After crossing the Jordan River, Joshua instructed the people to build a memorial of twelve stones so future generations would ask, "What do these stones mean?" Remembering isn't simply about looking backward—it shapes who we are and gives us courage for whatever lies ahead.
